Every chunk in the world holds an amount of area magicule. Normally that is a static
background value. With this system enabled it becomes a living resource: powerful beings raise
it, it spreads to neighbouring chunks, it decays when they leave, and high-magicule land behaves
differently from ordinary land.
Magicule World must be enabled on your server.
The core rule is simple:
Powerful entities standing in a chunk raise that chunk’s magicule. When they leave, it
decays back down.
Details worth knowing:
The practical consequence: a base occupied by strong players slowly becomes high-magicule
terrain, and abandoned land reverts.
Magic ore inside a sufficiently charged chunk gradually converts into Magic Ore Mother Rock.
The conversion chance scales with the chunk’s magicule, and each conversion spends magicule
from the chunk — so a chunk can exhaust itself and stop converting until it recharges.
Mother Rock grows like amethyst, in four stages:
Mother Rock → Small Bud → Medium Bud → Large Bud → Cluster
Each growth step is paid for out of the chunk’s magicule, and later stages cost more than earlier
ones. A chunk with a strong occupant nearby will push a crystal all the way to Cluster; a
drained one stalls partway.
This is the system’s main reward loop: keep powerful beings near your magic ore, and it farms
itself into crystals.
In chunks above a magicule threshold, natural spawns have a chance to be replaced with a
stronger creature. High-magicule land is more dangerous land — which is the trade for it being
more productive.
Which mobs upgrade into which is defined by a datapack, so your server can change the table.
Press F8 to toggle an on-screen panel showing your current chunk’s magicule values. It is
the fastest way to see whether a chunk is charging or decaying, and whether it can afford the
next crystal growth stage.
The panel’s position can be moved in the client settings.
Ordinarily a chunk’s magicule ceiling is set by whatever strong beings happen to be nearby, and it
fades once they leave. Gaia, Lord of Earth is the one thing that can raise it
permanently.
Seeding a chunk your nation has claimed deepens it by 250 each time, and that depth stays —
it does not fade the way an entity’s influence does. Land seeded over time holds far more magicule
than ordinary ground, which feeds everything else on this page: faster ore conversion, quicker
crystal growth, and stronger regeneration for anyone standing there.
The same skill can strip that depth back out of anyone’s land, including a rival nation’s, at a
steep cost to the caster.
Ground near world spawn is deliberately kept neutral and cannot be cultivated.
