Five custom engravings join the base game’s engraving pool. Engravings appear on their own as your weapons and armor grow in EP — each time a piece crosses a major EP threshold, it has a chance to gain one. Whenever a Rare or Epic engraving would roll naturally, there is a 25% chance (default, server-configurable) it becomes one of these instead.

Only armor can carry the conduits.

Exceptional forge work comes pre-engraved: a MYTHICAL craft receives 2 engravings and a LEGENDARY craft receives 1, drawn from the five above and matched to the item — weapons get combat engravings, armor gets conduits.
These craft-time engravings survive gear evolution and stack with engravings earned later through EP growth.
